Hall Arts
Town Hall Arts is a centre for arts,
culture and heritage learning at the heart of Wiltshire's County Town. We offer
an array of professional theatre and dance performances, art exhibitions,
workshops, a shop selling work by local artists, artists' studios and a large
number of community groups that hire space in this incredible Grade II listed
building.

Come and experience creating artwork you can be inside, with the
amazing HTC Vive. Wiltshire College students and staff will work with you to
create artwork that will lead to an online exhibition. This will be a FREE drop
in session with no need to book in advance.

The day will include tours, talks and discussions about what is
currently on offer, what is planned for the future and provides an opportunity
to share a vision for the creative future of Trowbridge.

Using images, the Museum’s handling collection and some objects
from the Museum store David will explain how the simple act of weaving came to
dominate the west Wiltshire townscape.

Bafta nominated Director Frank Smith will lead this session giving
tips on how to present yourself when applying for roles and at auditions; the
importance of and how to make the most of your close up, how to move and handle
props and more.

Based on a true story of a woman who struck up an unlikely
friendship with a wounded bird. It features live music, original songs, great
drama – and a crow called Alfie. A funny, moving and timeless story of our
endless fascination with birds – especially clever, tricksy, knowing ones.

Emerging from roots in late 1990s lo-fi and London-centric
psych-folk, Chris T-T first gained acclaim for sarcastic, city-obsessed urban
alt/folk music. Active since 1997, this event will celebrate Chris's 20 years
in music, clocking up over 2,200 gigs along the way

The seventeen members of Somerset Printmakers use print techniques
including lino, collagraph, woodcuts and etching to cover a broad range of
subjects from pure abstraction to figurative and landscape images. The
exhibition continues until Sat 24 June.
