Good news for Trowbridge - Bowyers site has been purchased

Innox Mills Ltd, a London-based consortium of property investors, has exchanged contracts on the purchase of the former Bowyers site and is assembling a team to redevelop this important site.

The site has been branded as “Innox Mills” and the following web-page is now live: http://www.innoxmills.co.uk/

Jonathan Dean from Innox Mills said: “We are really excited about this site and delivering a quality scheme for Trowbridge.  It is incredibly sad that the site has been derelict for nearly ten years and we are determined to see it brought back to life.

“We are fully committed to public consultation and will be looking to host a series of community engagement events later this year, with a planning application to follow in early 2017.”

PlanningSphere, a Bath-based planning consultancy, are acting as planning consultants for Innox Mills along with Bristol-based urban designers, Keep Architecture. A wider professional team is currently being assembled to cover all applicable technical disciplines.

A full technical assessment of the site context has been initiated to identify all the applicable constraints. This work will inform draft option proposals that will be viability tested, and subject to pre-application engagement with Wiltshire Council, statutory consultees and other stakeholders in due course. Innox Mills are also committed to engaging with the local community and neighbouring landowners.

Innox Mills plan to formulate a viable comprehensive mixed-use redevelopment planning application proposal. This proposal will be delivered by commercial and residential partners who will be selected in advance of a formal planning application submission.
